As we transition to PSI, WOCNCB’s new testing vendor, application submissions and exam scheduling are temporarily suspended. We will have a new link to submit applications and schedule exams soon. [More info]

  1. Apply online -a link will be be available soon.
  2. If requesting ADA accommodations:  indicate within the online exam application your needs (i.e., handicap accessible, reader, extended testing time, private room, or other) and include a licensed professional’s letter documenting the disability.
  3. Testing vendor sends email confirmation of eligibility to exam
  4. Schedule your exam up to 12 months from the time of exam application submission (or prior to current credentials expiration)
  5. The scheduling system allows you to view exam dates 4 to 30 days out
  6. Testing sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis
  7. A listing of PSI test sites, coming soon.

Exam Pass Rates

The following statistics reflect the percentage of test-takers who passed the Advanced Practice wound, ostomy, continence exams in 2024. These numbers reflect pass rates of all exams taken, that is, the number of passing scores divided by the number of tests administered.  As of today, more than 10,000 Wound, Ostomy, Continence and Foot Care nurses are currently certified by the WOCNCB®.
