WTA-C Exam

WTA-C Recertification fees: $250.00

Once you have earned the WTA-C, you must recertify every 5 years to maintain your certification. To recertify, you must take the certification exam again.

  1. For those recertifying, you may send an application up to 18 months prior to credentials expiration.
  2. Apply on line at WTA-C exam application.
  3. Meazure Learning sends email confirmation of eligibility to exam
  4. Schedule your exam up to 12 months from the time of exam application submission (or prior to current credentials expiration)
  5. The scheduling system allows you to view exam dates 4 to 30 days out
  6. It is recommended to schedule exam dates at least 90 days prior to credentials expiration
  7. Testing sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

Exam Pass Rate

The following statistics reflect the percentage of test-takers who passed the WTA-C exam in 2018. These numbers reflect pass rates of all exams taken, that is, the number of passing scores divided by the number of tests administered.  As of today, more than 8,800 Wound, Ostomy, Continence and Foot Care nurses are currently certified by the WOCNCB®.
